Behind Best of Friends

Two foxes pounce with mirth and mischief's glee,

Forbidden places they explore and see.

Into the forest where danger lurks and lay,

Forgetting where the bears enjoy to play.

All spotting trouble, these two siblings flee,

Up and under a burrow, two or three;

Escape for home’s protection to allay

A fright; in a joyful embrace they stay.

The normal sibling cannot comprehend

The lasting bond being the Best of Friends.
